A Life of Crime
Hello,
My name is Nick Peters. I am a new member of MC.
I would like to announce a project that me and a friend, Shawn Khamaneh, are working on.
We are planning on releasing a series of shooters ranging from an arcade rail-shooter, to a 2D side-scroller (like Mario or Metroid), to a 3D raytracer or maze (like any Basic maze you have seen, but with Asm extras).
You will be able to view the latest updates and download the updated versions beginning towards the end of April.
Just visit sentertainment.net. Your No. 1 Source for Innovation!
If you have questions or suggestions, post letter in the upcoming, updated forums or e-mail me at nepmarauder@yahoo.com.
Thanks for Reading

Well, we could do it in Basic with Asm utilities, but we are going the road of pure Asm, with the help of TI Power!
At first we were going to use TI Power for all of the Asm programming, but we noticed that it was not going to happen. TI Power does not offer enough functions.
However, we still wan't to use TI Power for the repetive steps such as if statements and sprites. So, I learned a little bit of Asm and Shawn started adding functions to the TI Power file.
When we are finished, we will have the ability to display RIGView grayscale pictures (I finished one of Al Capone last night), fading in and fading out, etc.
Pretty much, it is a tweaked version of TI Power with a bunch of Asm extras!

You will be able to download the intro soon at, www.sentertainment.net .
Right now, Shawn is updating his forum page (sentertainment.net) to include TI discussion. Also, I not sure were he is in adding to the TI Power Library.
I'm still touching up the current program.
As of now, I have the main intro finished, the title screen, the title screen menu, the introduction story, and the credits.
I am adding some gray-scale pictures today, for the introduction!
Also, I have some of the basic gaming elements close to finished, like the weapons with animation, ammo, health, etc.
No actual game yet.
I will keep you posted!

I continuing to work on the gray-scale intro.
I need to alter the code to return to the "point of entry" (place where I called the code). It sounds easy, but it just doesn't like some of my routines. I'm going to keep on working.
Shadow Phoenix, what are you trying to do with TI Power?
I've learned that TI Power and the cz80 assembler do not like certain statments, such as B_Call, use for buffers. Instead, I have to do this:
Example:
AsmOn
asm code to draw a picture to the buffer
AsmOff
CopyBuffer
AsmOn
more asm code
AsmOff
or I think you can call the CopyBuffer label
Example 2:
AsmOn
asm code to draw picture to buffer
call COPYBUFFER
more asm code
AsmOff
