Met Author of TI 82/83/84/85/86 Operating System
For those of you who don't know, Pat Milheron wrote the OS's for z80 TI calcs. And his son is in one of my classes!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I asked him that if I gave him a list of questions, would he answer it? And Mikey Milheron said his dad would answer it. So think of any question you have, any question at all. Michael_V has suggested that we ask if they had bets about whether people would reverse engineer the USB port like when they bet on whether people would figure out how to run assembly programs on the TI-85. Others have said we should ask about the undocumented rom calls / ports so we can add on to WikiTI. Not all questions can be submitted, especially if others already know the answers, but this is a great opportunity to unravel some of the mysteries of the z80 calculators.
I am also gonna ask him to get on #tcpa and #wikiti so we can ask talk to him in real time.

NOT PORTS!!! I'm having to much fun figuring those out, don't spoil it for me.threefingeredguy wrote:Others have said we should ask about the undocumented rom calls / ports so we can add on to WikiTI.
I can't really think of anything that I want him to answer that not covered by some type non disclosure.
I guess more enough on the usb for whatever Dan and everyone has figured out.

Ask him how long it took to write that OS My guess is "not very long" because some things seem pretty thrown together... maybe you should ask instead if he got payed per hour or for delivering up the entire system
