Great idea, all I can add is that I have zero time to investigate and try linking. There are a lot of "available" people around here, right? Consider the discussion in the Zelda thread
EDIT: Not all of them are available, but that doesn't mean they're all occupied...

Haven't I seen this topic a thousand times before..? Yup, I have. Why aren't there dozens of link games then? Because it's freaking difficult to keep the speed up when you're linking. Why aren't there any 3+ linking programs? Because that always requires _some_ form of special hardware and because it is killing for performance. Besides, it's hell to code
If you want to make a multiplayer game, don't start with a FPS... You'll give up faster than you can say "Damn that's slow"
(For those of you who remember I was working on a (multi calc) linking library: I'm still working on that a bit, but I have zero time for coding at the moment, and there are a few nasty little bugs in my code that I can't seem to find... so that'll take a while)

Hmm, it has nothing to do with the amount of RAM, but yes, it's much faster. And perhaps it has a link assist (hardware), or an easy to use include (software, like the one I try/tried to make) for coders to use in whatever situation.katmaster wrote:of corse its faster on an 89. its got like 3x the RAM. that means 3x the SPEED!!!
