Personally, the shuffle is perfect for the way I listen to music. People complain that they can't select a certain song, or they can't see what song is playing, and complain that it's a waste of money. This is just silly. For me, I would almost always just put my regular iPod on shuffle and leave it in my pocket to play. So I wouldn't be selecting songs, I wouldn't be looking at the screen (heck, I know what's playing by LISTENING TO THE SONG!). So, now I do the same thing, but the shuffle is almost weightless in my pocket. I sometimes even put it in the little used 5th pocket of my jeans. :D

So I would say the shuffle is completely worth the money, though you can get comperable players with more 'features' (quoted because most of these 'features' are useless to me.. I mean how many low quality voice recordings do I need on my mp3 player?) for a similar amount. It's all about how you listen to you music, I guess.

How do you get to the bash prompt? I've looked around for a few minutes on a friend's PowerBook and couldn't find it.
