thanks toaster. :D

Madskillz, I'm going to try out those 16x16 sprites w/in the next few days, and see how gameplay is at that size. I'm not sure how things will look, but I'm starting to agree with everyone, that my 8x8 jeep sprites just aren't cutting it. I really want diagonal movement, and the turning animation. We'll see how it looks.

sweet man...keep us posted alright! It is great to see new life back into this beaut!

update: Well I squeezed in as much detail as I could, and changed your sprites a bit to go along with my diagonal ones...well here we go...it should look fairly decent on the calc, looks crappy blown up, but this way you could actually see them!

So, haven't really touched this code in months, save the last few days. I updated the tree sprites, made some (crappy) diagonal sprites so I could show off the diagonal movement. More updates soon as I've found some renewed interest in this game. :)

have to agree with the first part (:-)) but your wrong with the second part. Its a clone of a S/NES game (dunno which) by the same name.

Ok, I wanted to wait until AFD was actually over, because this is real. I haven't made any changes yet, but I broke out the source to this project from a long time ago, finally got it to compile correctly, and got calcgs working, under linux. one new screenshot (pindurti works great under linux too!) @ http://juansuave.no-ip.org

let me know if the site isn't working right, bc it's just a server in my house, and I'm not sure if it's working right.
