Yup i m using RGP. It was equally fast with ducks GS package (on 6 interupt), maybe a 1 to 2 fps lesser than rpg.
I tested it on the reg TIs too, works perfectly. The qualtity is awsome with RGP, except the VTI screenshot capture, captures the screenie in uneven interval making the screenie crap
Right now i m using a 8 bit scroller just like the zelda demo, I might make it a nibble or bit scroller if I get a good speed with the AI
I could post a glitched version(No crash) of the prgm if you guys are really interested
@Jim e - Could u email the 8 way mapper to me later once u finish.

I think you should post the glitched game along with a list of the glitches.
I wont be able too because I dont know asm but im shure there are alot of people that could help you to move this game along! And because the demo was so awesome its still on my calc and I have explored every spot plus its like the exact replica of the first town in Links Awakening. Maybe do you think that could be one of the final levels because it was awesome?
In case anyone wants to play it here is the gamehttp://l-man.calcpages.com/forum/index. ... ost&id=763 This will be called Zelda but its the demo
Ps: I hope the shooting demo wont be more than a month

Well actually the zelda/tank demo posted on the site wasnt actually made by me. I used ducks zelda source and only modified the sprites. It was simply a demo i made to see whether tankers would actually be possible.
I couldnt use the zelda maps to make the actual game because duck used a 16X16 sprite map and 8X8 sprites. This brought down prgm size but actually would be slower if you added the Ai and all the other stuff
Known glitches and bugs-
Crashes in Crunchy Os for unknown reason
Collision detection not yet implemented
Do not scroll to the exterior of the maps, I havent really finished the part where it detects that
Most other bugs were killed Yay
Well this is just an unofficial demo release that demonstrates speed and Gfx of Coldfusion(Dont expect too much)
Download

gfx look great (yays, fast greyscale!) and it has good speed. I am experiencing a few bugs with the camera movement tho. I got the tank to be half on one side of the screen and half on the other. I also got it to display a bit of garbage due to the camera not stopping on the top and bottom of the map.
bananas... o.o

-Currently woking on 8 directional scrooling. Too busy with school to get much done. I m thinking of making coldfusion v1.0 multiplayer only

Well thats why i was thinking of having only AI, but AI would need some radical changes and optimization in my routine and since i dont really get much time, i ll try a less painful multiplayer version
Also the 89 actually has slightly different controls- the right and left key change the direction of the tank and up and down De/Accelerate, I m thinking of implementing something like that (so now it takes skill to drive)
