I cant imagine shelling out that much for some batteries.

I found 2 AA rechargeable batteries for $24 a long while ago. I dunno if the price is the same for the AAA batteries though

Well its technically a third world or developing country mainly because theres extremely low literacy rate, not that low either but pretty low. And i mean the govt spends a shit load of money on nuclear misscles (rather than education) thinking pakistan is a treat to national security.

He never said that. He said that it was a "third world contry", not country. Frankly, I don't know what he was talking about

Yeah, but at forums there is this funky lil button on the bottom of the posting page that has 'Preview' written on it. Misspellings are okay iirc, but not here. :P

This isn't a communication medium where time is of the essence (two such media would be IRC and instant messenger), so please take your time to type properly. Doesn't mean that you can't type properly in those media, however.

Let he who has not commited a typo cast another post regarding spelling.

Who really cares, you do not need a degree in literature to post on these boards. Besides English is not everyones native language.

This place is not that strict, and i personally dont care.

You cant honestly say that you didnt know what he was talking about when he mentioned India then wrote "contry"?

I'm just stating that I prefer to read proper English, and if it isn't proper English I might just ignore it.

That's kind of a closed-minded view. Sure, it may only take some of us a few extra seconds to verify our spelling and grammar, but many attend this site whose native language is not English. For them it may be ten minutes or more searching through a dictionary to make sure they have spelled words correctly, etc. Personally, I'm surprised at how good the English of most of the people here is, considering the large proportion on non-native English speakers. I wonder how you would sound if this board were in French. I wouldn't do very well, and I've had four years of French in school.
