[no offense to hicks or hyperactive kids]
I could leave out the "wtf" statements as they dont really add anything.

Blood doesnt really either bit it may help to create a "darker" atmosphere tho. Such as in Gemini the blood didnt necessarily make it a better game it just made it a little neater if you know what im saying/posting :D .

And no the RPG would not be based solely on blood (or "wtf" statements) :D . It will be an rpg with a (above) quality story and all that stuff :D .

After I start working on it and have something to demo then you can decide if its still a good (or bad) idea. I dunno when Ill ever get to coding it tho :D .

No this is not the secret project. I havent even started developing this.

The secret project was something I was thinking about doing and started but didnt want to announce it and let people down when I say Im not working on it anymore. Ill maybe work on it later or maybe somebody will have made it before i start working on it again.

What is an "M" rating? I'm only used to BBFC ratings (U, PG, 12, 15, 18_). Oh, and ELSPA ratings, but they don't count for anything (they're just suggestions, whereas a BBFC rating says that the person under age X cannot buy the item - DOOM3, for example, was rated 18_).

As far as blood goes - it doesn't bother me. It wouldn't stop me playing a game, if that's what you mean. :)

Well, I wouldn't "like" it - but it wouldn't bother me. It'd be like asking "would you like the main character to wear a hat".

From what I can see, ESRB translates to BBFC in this manner:

Ec = Uc (Universal for Children)
E = U (Universal)
E10+ = PG (Parental Guidance)
T = 12
M = 15
AO = 18

We also have "E" (exempt from classification).

Go for it!

In my province the movies are rated like this:

G: General (for all ages)
8: 8 years old or above (very rare)
13: 13 years old or above
16: 16 years old and above (mostly horror movies)
18: 18 years old (mostly '80s action movies and erotic movies)

but the video games use the ERSB rating, but I dont care much about that since I am 18

in Holland it's:
AL: alle leeftijden, all audiences
6: 6 years and above
9: 9 years and above (very rare, the only movie i've seen so far that had this was Harry Potter 3. I think they created the '9' just for that movie, since nobody had ever heard of it before HP3)
12: 12 years and above (duh)
16: guess what...

16 is the only one you need to show yer ID for, a 6 year old could go to a '12' movie.

Haha, an M rated RPG? You've gotta do more than adult words, violence. You need to have [censored] and strong themes, blood, gore, usage of drugs, and etc.

Note: the censored is placed incase of a word that might seem innapropriate for young audiences, or children that tend to giggle when you use the word.

In the US the movie rating system goes
G (General Audience)
PG (Parental Guidance)
PG-13 (Parental Guidance sugested under the age of 13)
R (Cannot attend without a parent under the age of 17)
X (I think you have to be 21 to attend)
