New coder on the way ...
Hey guys,
I'm new to TI programming. I've been learning about asm over the last while and found out about the Z80 processor and its current use on TI graphing calcs.
Soooo, I just had to buy one I ordered a used TI 83+ SE from ebay and can't wait to start playing with it. I'm reading up on Z80 asm and hopefully have something programmed by the time the 83 gets here.
I'd like to program some cool stuff and maybe stuff never before seen!
See ya guys around,
-novenary

Hello novenary, welcome to the MaxCoderz forums .
Great to see you are interested in coding for the z80 calcs, its a lot of fun and very rewarding.
A good idea is to grab yourself and emulator like PindurTI (found here: http://kvince83.tengun.net/maxboard/vie ... 12&start=0). It will aid your development greatly.
Also some recommended reading: http://kvince83.tengun.net/maxboard/vie ... 70&start=0
Feel free to ask any questions you may have, see you around! .

welcome!!
it's good to see more ASM programmers i'm guessing you've got a lot of programming experience under your belt, but u just happen to come upon ti calcs?
i recommend revsoft.org/wabbitemu.zip for an emulator. idk if that's the latest version of wabbitemu though.

This link should work:
WabbitEmu
WabbitEmu
I've been so bold as to write a Beginners Manual on the WikiTi:
http://wikiti.denglend.net/index.php?title=Beginners
I suggest we put some energy into perfecting that page and point new people to it, instead of discussing assemblers and emulators every single time.
