Why not? obviously you won't be able to play those games, and the touch interface would have to be replaced by keypresses. But that's not the point, if it works, it works. Even if it can not play any games, it can still work ("work" defined as correctly emulating all relevant opcodes)

even the 68ks have trouble emulating z80 right? it's not like the better processor helps much. actually the architechture difference makes it kinda hard :(

Phantom Hourglass is 1024 Mb IIRC.
So yeah, I'm sure it could be done ;)
