Well, Starcalc was being made a while ago, but the progress has unfortunately been stalled.

I haven't heard any real progress since March, so I consider it stalled, but not stopped.

Glad you stopped back for a visit Tnm...I remember the old discussion of starcraft that used to be in the old forums.

It's not that special once you take a closer look at it. Though it looks great and sounds great, it won't be that great on an 83+ because of the speed and it won't be that great on any z80 calculator because of the small screen size. However, it is pretty promising in that it will be the first RTS calculator game for the 83+ family in assembly.
BTW, there are tons of other clones for PC games, some of which are in development while others are released. Stick Soldiers is one of them, while there are many clones of Minesweeper out there (though this one is my favorite). Heck, even Pinball is out.

OK, then let me rephrase what I said:
However, it is pretty promising in that it will be the first RTS calculator game with an AI for the 83+ family in assembly.

But, if you go by making something from RTS on calc (like Starcraft) it will most likely be TBS (which catch 22 is).
