-Infected-
Download
Included in the download are the executable and the level editor (for instructions, see bellow).
Plot-
You are a lone soldier that crash landed on a planet filled with monsters and zombies. At the moment, the game is more of a minigame, no real plot, just mindless killing with some eye candy. There is no end to the levels, this is a survive till you die game. Has a couple weapons and a handful of enemies. To make it even more fun, they come in swarms. I have also added a lighting system to make it feel like you are in a dark cave (although there is one level that is outside). Hope you like it!

If you find any bugs or get an error message, please tell me almost exactly what it says or what happened. Thanks!

Enjoy!

Hey just to let you know on my Vista 64 comp this game doesn't work. It errors out at the beginning. It says Runtime error 216 at 0040418A if this helps.

I think that's because you're using Vista. :)

Nice game, though I hope you won't have infinitely spawning enemies because it gets frustrating and it slows down the game if the enemies gather at one platform.

Also, I got an error message when I died next to the wall on the outdoor level. Here is the error message, word for word:
ERROR in
action number 1
of Create Event
for object yellow_blood_fall

Error in code at line 3

direction=player.aimdir-random(30)+random(30)

at position 21: Unknown Variable aimdir

Alright thanks for the views guys.

Oh and thanks for the errors, Ill fix them quickly and release an update later.

EDIT: Oh and Kalan, I was thinking of porting it to PSP using open source LUA scripting language.

um, the file keeps not unzipping and coming up as corrupt...I could get the map editor to work though (its the main game that won't work). Judging from what I could see in there, seems like you need a lot more kinds of tiles and such.

looks great, I can't wait to try it out...but for the psp, I wouldn't port it using lua. In my opinion the lua homebrew sucks ass. However we are in desperate need of something great, the current homebrew has been lacking lately. Hit me up with an email or send me a PM either here or Revsoft.org I wouldn't mind helping out on a psp port.

It's a shame if he doesn't go through with this...it looked pretty promissing.
