The Last King of Scotland , a (fictionalised) biopic based on Idi Amin's presidency of Uganda is probably the best film I've seen this year, and would strongly recommend it if you get the chance to see it. Forest Whitaker gives an absolutely terrifying performance as Amin; if he doesn't get an Academy Award for it then there is no justice in this world.
Has anyone else seen it?

Not yet, but it looked good when I saw commercials (at least I think I did see them, I recognize the name of the movie somewhere).
