Doors CS 6, of course.

For those of you wondering why it's going to be DCS6 asm: it's for the GUI features and other libraries.

Oh of course, that did enter my mind ... but it sounded like it was for a programming competition or something :).

Ah, no. He was initially planning on BASIC, but then he realized what an advantage it would be to have ASM + a GUI. :)

'twas originally gonna be an exhibit for my tilemapping routine, but I decided that if I was gonna port that mac worlds most beloved classic game I better do it in asm for speed reasons

Dude, I love macs and I've never heard of the game. Perhaps you should check out the 1000 games pack.

can't scroll yet so I generated a few different maps to get one that was interesting in the upper left corner, so stay for the whole screeny.

under 2300 bytes and half that is the title screen.

the ability to open files has now been programmed, although atm all the files contain is a map. map generation is now fully functional. working on writing the map scrolling code.

Will you be making it so that there isn't a scroll bar?

ummm....why? I probably could, but what would be the point? its a turn based strategy game with pieces scattered all over the map (assuming you're half way decent at it)....
