Nice sprites! Wows, those look really good. Just like the old metroid games but smaller and greyer. xD

EDIT: LOL this is my 1111th post :insane: :excited: :insane: :excited: :drifter:

Let's hope they appear just as good on calc. Just absolutely amazing. They're so small and so good.

Created a chozo statue sprite (took awhile..), then did tiles after finding every graphic related to the game. I then created conceptual shots that display the tiles but don't exactly have an association with Metroid 68k as I'm not making the maps, just graphics.

Update: I did a full outline for the samus sprites instead of partial, and now she's a lot more visible; also she fits in with the atmosphere of the tiles better now. No idea what it'd look like on-calc yet though. Also added the rest of the stuff I did to the display sheet.

Added Samup's ship and animated demonstration for the doors. Two sprites for samus's ship because the engines at the bottom seem too bright when lit but it doesn't look right with them 'off'. Also, the normal doors (non-missle opening) look a bit bright and need adjustment for one of the frames to properly open/close. Other than that I'm pretty much done with those sprites :P

Whoa! The ship looks amazing! The doors look great as well.

This is going to be one of the best looking calc games ever made!

Yeah, theres a few glitches I can complain about for metroid 68k in terms of the engine, but graphically I'll enhance it like mad.

The engine's still pretty impressive though. Probably better than anything I'll accomplish in a million years....
