Multiple Game Pack

Post by kalan_vod »

What this is:
This game pack was inspired by elfprince13s' game Frog Rpg. I saw him making a game with mini type games in it and I thought it would be cool to make my own type of pack with several games in it. After working on this a few days I was chatting with Kevin Ouellet and he told me that he requested ticalc.org remove all his games, so I downloaded them. After I downloaded his games, I played a few for fun and saw his game Omnimaga Pack. When I saw this I was inspired once again to make a pack of games!

Things added:
-14 games
-3 difficulties on each mini game
-Several modes of play on each game

Planned:
-Included 25 or more games
-Single program
-Graphical menu

I have made a few games that are unique, but a few are my rendition and my code of some on ticalcs archives. I will include the programs separately also incase one wishes to have certain games.

No, it will make use of the RAM :D, it will be all in one program. I have made a few menus for it, and I am deciding which to use.

Update [05/02/06]:
This is coming real close to a release!

Things added:
-11 games
-Started on the menu system, looking for the best method of mine

Planned:
-Add a few more games
-Make a graphical menu
-Add a game description or just keys for each game, although I believe it is self explanitory
-Release

Well the total size of the one program with all the mini games inside is 7116b with 25 games packed in there. That also includes the Input based menu system :P, this is only temperately. With the additions planned I expect this to be at least 10,000b, but if I add some more games I have been working on to this it may be released at 12,000b. I feel I have optimized this to death and believe it will be fine, and I am happy of the size of the whole program being small.

I have made a few games that are unique, but a few are my rendition and my code of some on ticalcs archives. I also have recreated some Asm games into basic ones, just so I have something to show :P.

Well the menu has been done now, I just need to work on the help/info menu and then I am done....So you can just wait a little bit longer :P. The game names are shorten, as they are all on one page (graphscreen. I can have up to 28 games on the screen, but I am going to add quit + help so it is 26 possible games...I am going to add one or two more >.>

Well I finished this up, I didn't get to do everything I wanted though. I plan on optimizing it a bit more and adding a game or two, which are not finished yet. I release it now because I am getting tired of working on it, so if I continued working on it I might have not released it :P. Enjoy, and let me know of any bugs (I coundn't find any) or any suggestions. Thanks!

Dang! That's a lot of minigames! 8) Sorta reminds me of WarioWare with the huge game library.
My diet consists of nails, code-stealers, and HP fans.
