Or in other words; it would be nice if a "outsider" would write about usWikipedia surveys existing human knowledge; it is not a place to publish new work. Do not write articles that present your own original theories, opinions, or insights, even if you can support them by reference to accepted work.

Request: Maxcoderz @ Wiki
I would like to request a wiki-page about Maxcoderz. Why I don't write one myself? Well:

It would probably either be speedy deleted or AfD'd. In fact, I'd agree with them on that: I don't think MaxCoderz is important enough in the grand scheme of things to be in an encyclopedia (that and I'm not so happy with how they run things anymore).
I won't go out of my way to make an article for you, but on the same token I won't do anything to try to stop someone else (inc. AfD'ing it).

Well, I got the idea after seeing:AndySoft wrote:It would probably either be speedy deleted or AfD'd. It doesn't seem as if they were deleting that so I guess we deserve a site aswell
p.s.: What's AfD'ing?
Btw; Why do we have WikiTI, if it only wants to document the bcalls and other hardware stuff... Imho WikiTI would be the perfect place to gather information of other things like projects, games, programming groups, people etc, etc, etc.

Wow, that article is pretty large. *shrug* That was just my initial thought... I guess well developed articles on every major group would be nice, but I must cite precedence: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia: ... TICalc.org (you may have to manually scroll to the proper section) was a vote to delete. I feel if you wish MaxCoderz to have a Wikipedia entry, you should nominate ticalc.org's article for undeletion, which I would wholly support.
As for WikiTI, it was indeed originally for programming reference only. It currently still is, though I don't really see a reason why adding anything else should be frowned upon at this point in time. Yeah, we'd like to flesh out some more progamming information, but whatever.
AfD == Articles for Deletion

Cemetech used to be on Wikipedia too, but it didn't show up in a search... Guess it was deleted.

Yes, that was my first impression too when I read it. Kinda annoyed me at the time, I remember I edited the page about the Ti-83 series to order all the links under "External links" in the current cathegories, and put Cemetech under "Programming groups" instead of "See also" or something Oh, and I think I added the WikiTi at that time.AndySoft wrote:Cemetech was indeed deleted, beause it sure sounded like Kerm wrote it himself.
