Hey can some one help me learn how to program in asm.

Post by Alphawolf »

I would like it if some one could personally help me learn what i need to program in asm. This is because of the crappy instructions that are given by recent tutorials in which i've tried. plz!!!! I really want to join maxcoderz and in order to do that I really want to learn asm. I'm only good in basic. but you see that's not good enough for me I have to learn all aspects of the programming world.

Just search for "Andy" in the file archives of ticalc.org

Use his assembly package to compile ASM programs. The readme makes it really simple. It also comes with the system reference document for the ti-83+ and Ionguru, which are really useful. Then look for ASMGuru in the Ti-calc archives.

btw, I've only been programming calcs in ASM for about a month. I've gotten used to it and I prefer it over Basic, and even C for Ti-89. I'm very bad at Ti-Basic concepts though and I'd appreciate it if someone helped me out.

That kinda hurted my eyes :P

Anyway, Alphawolf, please don't spawn a thousand different threads on the same topic... And there's a help section on this forum, where these kind of things belong.

You are not allowed to post in a random board just because the chance of getting replies is higher. Post in the appropiate forum. Besides there are already several topics of this subject in Programming Help. THerefor closed.
