There's a way to make it blue. Using the same program once I got orange magenta green and purple.
No joke. Damn I wish I saved a clip

I said physically. Pushing on the calc screen is physical. Running a program that turns the screen blue is generally safe as long as you don't run it for too long.
Overpowering the LCD enough to turn it blue is just as physical as you or I. These blue prog are more dangerous than they get credit for and personally, I wish ticalc would pull them.

Not true, they are just as dangerous.

Yeah, for a newb it may be the end of your calc. When I first got on ticalc and I ran that program I never knew that, so I could've killed my calc then .
They do have warnings in the readme. I have run it a few times, and never had any permenant damage. I just didn't keep it running too long.
I think we are getting off on quite a tangent here. The question was, how do you get orange, magenta, green and purple with a program, without pressing on the screen?

No proof, therefor its not true or false, but if not proven then it isn't possible.
I'll try tonight or maybe Timendus can shed some light on it, as he is an expert at the link port.

The LC's reflect wavelengths based on thier temperature, so it's not impossible to get others besides blue. Reasonably though, that LCD section will rupture or burn out well before this happens. I once compared it to peering down a gun barrel. Death by curiosity.

Of course, only the geniuses think of that. But i'm not
How about f00xing up the waterfall program by unlocking ithe asm program and then deleting the first code ? Ever thought of that ?
