Is this too large or alright?

Just a lone sprite, is it too large? or do you guys like jumbo sprites with detail?

I like big sprites, but that one is...oddly proportioned.

The head's a bit lumpy. It would make a good creature, but I dunno about a good human. Other than the head, it looks pretty good.

wow! i'd love to use it but i'm still unsure as to how to use IonPutSprite, so i'll pass.

the head's unusually large, but that's okay

16x16 ain't exactly that large... Aura's character sprite is 24x16.

Oh I forgot to mention, I'm brain dead when it comes to asm :P nor do I intend to learn ASM. My head is asploding from C++ atm..

I do use a series of primitive tools for the sprites... it's actually not that hard and with a little bit of reading on xLib I think i'll be able to obtain some decent rendering speed.

And if you think that's big well ... chances are good you'll be seeing 48x48

The sprite isn't too big, just its head.
