Meeting in A'dam

Post by kv83 »

So we had today a meeting in A'dam. Joe (sic), Tim (Timendus), Kalimero (Tijl), NanoWar (Robert), Leofox (?) and myself were there, I had to leave early though because the parents of my gf were visiting us over the weekend. Some people, like Kozak and Duck, couldn't make it due circumstances, but maybe we'll plan another time another meeting to get to know each other. Who knows?

It was really intresting to see those people in real life though. Joe will stay here in the netherlands until tuesday he said and then will go back home, so maybe he'll be available then again. :)

Yeah, I still want to meet you guys :P

We talked a bit about our projects, about our current education, programming in general, plans for the future and whatnot...

Well, you haven't explicitly asked me, have you ? :$

Anyway, here are 2 pictures (I hope it doesn't bother you, CoBB) :

BoB and Léo are friends of mine, with who I was travelling through Central Europe (well, Germany, Austria and Hungary)

As you can see, we are totally wet...Hungarian weather, I've been told :p

Edit : yes, we do have strange faces :)

Nope. I'm sorry man :P ... I'm not that good in names.

I forgot to take some pics with my cell-phone but luckily Tim took some. As long as I were there, we didn't talked much about calc-programming... just a couple of lines

Maarten Hoek.
I did tell it y'know. I think that was after you left though.

It was a lot of fun, nice to meet all you people in real life. Kinda weird though to be sitting in an Irish pub on a sunday evening talking about clock cycles and fastcopy :P .

And who had this stupid idea to meet in front of the 'Free record shop'? :P
It is so funny if you dont know each other and you see people stopping in front of this 'meeting point' and you wonder if he is someone from the TI community :P
Everyone next to you could be someone waiting for you...

And Joe was too late!

But nice to meet those people in real life.

TI convention... haha XD

Yeah we went to a MacDonalds first to eat, then we walked through Amsterdam a bit. We drank a few beers in an Irish pub place we found and talked about stuff.
