Good to see you registered Kerm :).

Looking at the Frappr, it seems that Buffalo, NY would be an ideal place to hold a convention, as it is close to many people. :D

10 hours? You don't know what a long plane ride is until you've sailed to the asia pacific... 18 hours average.. nearly 22 hours or more if you stop at different airports and need to wait an hour :x

You know what would be cool? If we could somehow get a private sponsorship for this or something. Maybe call it an educational event. Didn't a bunch of the high school math and science competition start out this way?

Those how are still high school could try to convince there math club representatives to go on an initiative. I wouldn't doubt if TI would get behind the idea after a few years of suggesting.

It looks like one should be in dallas, and one some where between NY and Ohio, and one in europe.

Sounds good, how about the most populated regions get their seperate event. We can like tie em all up through video link or something :D
Just one more thing: Finance ? Money ? $$$ ?

That's where the sponsorships would come in handy.

But if the sponsors want something out of it, what would they get exactly?

LOL Yeah and we can attract TI with our stolen documentation of HP's graphing calculators
