Two-pixel scrolling in Omnicalc is just fast enough (it'd be nice if it was faster, but it's fast enough not to be annoying) so I imagine at least two-pixel scrolling would be more than fast enough with Xlib, perhaps even true smoothscrolling. For most games it wouldn't be worth the extra mem requirements of string your map data in pics, but since I already have to do that with Aura...

Yeha it would be cool. You couls use a technique similar to the one in Diortem intro, amybe smooth scrolling wouldnt be possible, remember that horizontal sprite width in xLIB and Omnicalc must be multiple of 8

BUT, xLIB allows for clipped sprites, so you might be able to scroll that way ... i would have to change a few things though ...

Ender's Game is coming along, Aura isn't until Ender's Game is done. that's just the way it is.

You wanna watch those double posts...
Actuall to tell the truth, Aura is the one I'm really looking forward to making AND playing too. But I need to finish Ender's Game.
