Just so everyone knows, this project is NOT dead. Here's what I've been working on bit by bit. I ran this in Pindur TI, and it runs faster on the calc.
So, what do you think? Still need power ups and AI, and I'd like to improve the movement engine more; it's still a little laggy.

Looks great and I think it runs pretty fast for basic. Btw could you up the contrast a little?

Jup, they released last year the DS version and a new one is already coming ahead... though it has online mode, which is quite nice
anyway; katmaster, this looks really well, though it will be even more intresting to see how the ai will influence (right word?) your engine
