Well, yes, I meant easier to code & faster... Because there are less possibilities per move. So also easier to code a good AI. But yes, for the z80 processor, due to its low specs, it's practically impossible to get a decent/good player. But i'll do the best I can. If i get a 20-25k AI, i'll be happy ^^' Well at least it's good training :)

i like how the game looks although i have no idea how to play it. when you make it, ill have to learn how to play it cause i get bored in geometry pretty easy.

maybe people can post their highscores.

I guess that would make my high score 12k :)

LOL You can't really get highscores in this game... Except if I make it like Igowin, which has a system like that, it's a 9x9 go game for PC... I've gotten to 11k on it, but I haven't played on it so much yet, so I'll probably be able to get higher.

you can probably have a high score cause the 84 have clocks and you can time the games?

You can time the games without the built-in clock too.

Yes, but that takes more processing. I think it would be cool to have though.

Well the games could use the timer, for if you want to play a time-limited game, but there's no such thing as "highscores" in Go.

Well then I would just make it a special feature, only working with the 84 line (since it wouldn't require much more coding).

Yes, I agree.

so, how much progress is there on this? Even with only 2 person play it would be a great game. Maybe when you release that you can get it featured on ticalc.org and use that news item to kick off a programming contest to see who could make the best AI for go in 20kb. But getting the game working should come before getting the AI working, as that may not even be very possible.
