You fail at devving/programming.threefingeredguy wrote:We modified example code from devKitPro. It was poorly commented. We were lucky that variables are pretty clearly named.
And yet you find yourself a credible source to talk about these things. heh.My tilemapper was me doing the sprite routine in a for loop.

no, don't stop now. Just move this to the debate thread, but I love to watch a good argument. Come on, you know you're right, so post until the other person is debated into submission.

It may just be my own opinion, but I don't want to see a thread I'm very interested in to be destroyed for your entertainment.
...
So to hopefully move discussion back to what it should be, this is what I'm planning on getting:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6820203005
m3 perfect SD and Passcard 3 from: www.m3adapter.com/products.htm
Suggestions? Thoughts?

ok, we do have a very nice debate thread. please feel free to debate all you want there. In fact, perhaps a mod would even split off the debate into a new topic to keep this thread from becoming too cluttered. It's just a suggestion, and I wouldn't mind seeing a good argument anywhere, but if anyone doesn't want an argument here, then it should just be somewhere else. So, don't stop, just move to a more appropriate place. Just my thoughts, IMHO.
Edit:
I originally posted the following message after tr1p1ea's next post, then thought better of it and deleted it(since it could be considered an argument and didn't really add to the topic of this thread). However, I did want to respond to tr1p1ea's statement concerning me that he just posted, without putting another post up. Here is what tr1p1ea posted:

Arguments != Debate.
I SAID NO MORE ARGUING
huh? I said that I like an argument, but I also said that since this thread is for DS programming and the argument was getting long, the people debating it should move the argument to the debate thread, so as not to clutter this thread. Is there something wrong with that? I seem to recall a mod asking for this same kind of thing in another thread a while ago. I could be mistaken though. I don't think I made any claims as to having authority.

Im still worried about the compatibilty of sd version, I have to admit the micro-sd just sounds awesome in the fact that in can fit with out pretruding. I haven't actually seen a CF card in forever, but they look a little flimsy sticking out. So I don't know which I would want.KevinJB wrote:So to hopefully move discussion back to what it should be, this is what I'm planning on getting:

I do have 2 micro sd cards, and I love them. I had a 64mb one come with my phone, and then I got a 512mb one...it is a mp3 player/video phone any ways XD.Jim e wrote:Im still worried about the compatibilty of sd version, I have to admit the micro-sd just sounds awesome in the fact that in can fit with out pretruding.
