Aside from Brandon and maybe a couple of others it's just not worth logging on to tcpa anymore. It rarely has any insightful calculator talk anymore. Probably just another sign of the community dying.tr1p1ea wrote:Its a real shame how #tcpa has detriorated into nothing more than a trolling contest. The only people i can see keeping the calc side of things alive is maybe Brandon and Andy.

no, its not like that, also its clearly still being worked on. and its not the critisism, its the respect.Spencer wrote:It would be a little like saying "Because you just criticized me, I'm going to stop working on Zelda forever." But I wouldn't do that, that would be silly.
Everybody gets criticism, it's something you have to learn to live with.
Kevin... you've called me a flamer before, so you're probably going to take this the wrong way, but why the hell do you care? I've just scrolled through those logs a bit, and I didn't see anything all too horrible in there, except for them saying that you overreact and threaten to close your websites each time you get pissed off. By responding this way you prove them right. Why do you do that?
Also, it is not humanly possible to have this wide a variety of people all pissed off with you at the same time:
Once again: I'm not trying to piss you off or make you look like an ass, I just don't understand why you make such a big deal out of these things, and I hope you'll learn to just ignore trolls and use constructive criticism in a good way.
Cheers and good luck

You've started a Holy War over me "bashing" Kerm, and you're mentioning people with all different kinds of programming experience from different groups, and they're ALL against you..? No offense, but that must mean that either you're overreacting to badly worded criticism or that they are right and I should be joining them in the flaming I hope and expect it's the former.DJ Omnimaga wrote:[...] brandonw [...] Andy [...] JoelS, threefingeredguy, KermMartian, sjrberg (MissingIntellect) [...] NanoWar [...]

Yeah, #TCPA has pretty much turned into this:

Yeah, honestly I'm a little shocked Nano's on there, and for something he did 2 years ago.Timendus wrote:Also, it is not humanly possible to have this wide a variety of people all pissed off with you at the same time:DJ Omnimaga wrote:[...] brandonw [...] Andy [...] JoelS, threefingeredguy, KermMartian, sjrberg (MissingIntellect) [...] NanoWar [...]
