Nostalgia and ancient history

Post by Dwedit »

Hard to beleive it's been 7 years...

Bonus points for any strange icons you can identify from the system tray...
You know your hexadecimal output routine is broken when it displays the character 'G'.

You also started with ASM Guru ? Ouch.
I don't remember you ever did a RPG/adventure game, by the way :?

It was not finished. Didn't get too far after starting the combat system. Canned the game because I thought the current design wouldn't be any fun. Made plenty of sprites for it though.

I liked ASMguru. The guy who wrote it sucked but that just made the explainations simple.

I can see WinAmp, DirectCD, Task Scheduler, AIM, Netscape Communicator, Volume Control. Wow.

I was never a big fan of WinAmp. But, then again, I was about 9 years old at the release of Windows 98. :-P
