What brand/model is the TV? It might use a standardised protocol.

Mmmmmm. Must...get...JVC codes. That would make things interesting around school. I just hope this prog doesn't lead to calcs getting lost in the sofa cushions.

Cool. Any possiblity of perhaps IrDA support?

If the protocol is doable, it shouldn't be all that hard to be able to receive files via OBEX exchanges ... and if the file is a .8x? (? != {k, u}), decode it and store it away.... That'd be _really_ slick. Possibly even send files back to a computer, generating the variable file on-the-fly.

I don't think it would work. I haven't looked into the protocol in detail, but the bits and pieces I have heard make it sounds rather too complex to be done in software on a slow machine.

this makes me think of a VERY old project of mine, before I knew much about circuitry.......any chance of support for the Lego protocol?
