Sorry guys, but I overestimated what I would be able to get done this weekend. School is kicking my arse lately, as we are getting close to exams. I did get some work done though. So far I have all the maps and their relevant sprites made. I have the walking and scrolling engines working. I have the...

[LOOM] Contest: Redesign my rock!

I wasn't really sure where to put this... since it's a pixel art contest about Loom, so I put it in here cause the forum feels a bit empty. Here is the contest. http://img224.imageshack.us/img224/882/badrock4za.jpg As you can see from this screenshot, my rock sprite sucks. This contest is to re-desi...

Yeah, it is short. I will probably add a few more puzzles on to the end to make it a bit longer, and also a bit harder. The last hour of the game is really easy, IMO.

Expect walking screenshots of all of Loom Island tonight or tomorow :).

There is code in there to assure that the asteroids can never be placed more than 7 spaces away from where you are. Theoretically, it is possible to hit every one. There's bombs for the hard ones though.

Well, I didn't put it here in the first place because it's just a dinky little game. Good for killing some time between classes... but hardly a "product."

[Staff][Fin] Fun Little Basic Game: Asteroids

I was bored between classes today, so I re-programmed this for the 5th time. I've never uploaded this to Ti-Calc or shared it with anyone besides my high school friends because I usually ended up deleting it before I transfered it to my computer. Yay boredom :). Just thought I would post here before...

I found it in 2000, but wasn't really "there" per se. I didn't have an account... I just downloaded games and played them. :) But I started the ION trend at my high school (this was before Mirage was as popular as it is now)... until then everyone was playing stand-alone ASM games or basic...

Well, I kind of got sidetracked. Instead of working on the scripting engine, I did more graphics work. I drafted some new sprites that I hadn't drawn yet, and binarified about 100 sprites that I had drawn but not added to the library yet. All told, there will be aboue 170 sprites just on Loom Island...

[TI ASM] Fastest way to check for a keypress

What is the fastest method to check if a certain key (in this care the right arrow) key is being pressed at a particular moment? I don't want a looping check like _getkey... just a "check if it's pressed, and it not, move on" kind of thing.

It is... but I'm probably biased ;). Just letting everyone know that, while there haven't been any changes made to the look of the game (hence no screenshots to post), I have been coding. I spent tonight working the scoll routines. I had them working before, but it was a work-around that was going t...

You'll all get invites. There's going to be an open beta, which was the main motivation I had for asking for this forum... but I will need a handful of more dedicated beta testers, and you all can look for PM's when that time comes ;).
