Ha why? Charging whatever you want for something is the basis of your economies as well. They aren't going to sell many copies and nobody is forced to buy it.
Sorry, I misread the the first post... Just ignore that :)

Re: UGH! Disgusting!

You'd be surprised what companies do when nobody is watching them. (referring to the extreme free market in the us).

However, it's probably very much possible to sue them in Europe. Perhaps you can make some profit in the process :D

Re: Brass 3.0.0.0 Beta 12

Heh, found another one: For example, take this define: #define MACRO(x) ld a,x\ sub 2 This gives the error "label x not found" when used. Apparently, brass doesn't see \ as a seperator, causing the substitution to fail (it only substitutes whole words). Inserting a space fixes this problem.

Re: Next version of xLIB - features?

What do you mean when you say you are "not such a fan" of such pranks? This is not a prank of mine. More like a laugh. It's not like I'm trying to destroy my friend's calculator. Also, I've been playing around with the techniques of xLIB and my program ended up turning into something pret...

Re: Next version of xLIB - features?

Well yes, but I'm not a fan of such pranks.

Also, everyone knows the risk of asm programs but does not expect this from a ti-basic program. (Nor can you fool anyone into running an asm program, required syntax etc.)

Re: Next version of xLIB - features?

Not allowing on to break a program? Bad idea. If you happen to get stuck in an infinite loop (or you want to lock up your friends calc) you'd have to pull a battery to quit the program which I can imagine, is quite frustrating.

Re: Brass 3.0.0.0 Beta 12

Code: Select all

label = 1
#module module
label = 2
#endmodule
#module fail
.echo module.label
#endmodule
fails with
X Label 'fail.module.label' not found.
.echo module.label
This shouldn't happen, right?

I'm pretty sure this was mentioned somewhere... meh, posting it just to be sure.

Re: Desolate Re-write

I don't know... What I do know is that I get easily 'tired' of redoing old work. It may seem like a great idea but I'd be bored very fast.

What about making desolate 2 instead? :ninja:
