Resident Evil
In my freshman year I made a trailer for a game I was thinking up , then I lost interest in the game.
So I found it on my comp, and have realized I can now make this game with xLib.
It's top down like Zelda except wid guns.
story:In the middle of a destroyed town three buildings remain:a school, an office building, and a geothermal power plant. Your character is sent by the gov't to determine how the town was destroyed.

well it has been a really really long time since I updated on this game
so here's da shizzle:
you can move up and down, strafe left and right
enemy follows
HUD has health and ammo counters working
5 weapons (tell them to ya later)
da shizzle:
(5 asterisks means it is critical to the main engine, 1 means its almost unneeded)
only one enemy ****
grenades not implemented at all *****
very very small map *****
HUD has no weapon showing or items showing ***
no turning around yet ****
screen isn't placed properly ***
storyline isn't even started **
teh glitchez:
the enemy skips tiles when you move backwards, pulling the screen with you (I'm working on that one now)
after the enemy catches you, he stays ontop of you when you move

Update [01/24/06]:
This game will feature great graphics and gameplay, which will be our interpertation of Resident Evil.
Things added since last update:
-Changed the code around, which runs a lot smoother.
-Optimizations have been made all over the programs.
Things to be added:
-A whole new engine will be added to our game.
-Several changes to the sprites and gameplay.
This is a group effort of kalan_vod, T0RM3N7, and thecheat. We hope to have more updates a lot more offten. More info can be found at Omnimaga and my site.
