Oh,
you don't care? Here I thought the bet was between kv83 and myself.
And yes, considering this is a calculator programming site, I would prefer the solver to be in TI-83/84 basic. It's a lot more useful that way.

I never agreed on that.

ok, fine. write it in z80 asm(as in the kind you can run on a 83+ calc) if you don't like TI-basic.
and the_unknown_one: what use would a vb one be? there are plenty of pc sudoku solvers. Calc ones are not so abundant.

I know I suck at ASM. I suck at any language. I suck at coding. I suck overall. I suck.

Well, then maybe you are peeved enough to get better. No one is just naturally fluent in asm. Everyone has to learn it and then practice coding with it. Hmm, didn't someone have that username here? ISuck or something like that?
kv83, hows that on-calc sudoku solver coming?

well, maybe your talents lie elsewhere. Not eveyone is talented at programming. In fact, I'm more of a hardware rather than software programming guy myself. But just because my friend down the hall can write a program in 5 minutes that would take me a week(and yes, that just happened, this past week) doesn't mean I'll give up on programming just yet.

So, kv83, any progress? It's been a while, and I haven't seen any sign of a Sudoku solver.

Yeah. If I don't see some results soon, I'm going to throw my pet rock at you.
and setting your username to be hidden isn't enough to prevent me from noticing you.
