I just started working on mine. If I spend enough time on it, it'll rock.

Yeah but it took 2.5 months to make the sprites in ROL3 (300 hours at least) and the reuben sprites are merely ROL3 sprite I modded a bit so they look better, and the monsters are from Final Fantasy 2, I meant I am not very good at making all my sprites myself and Cyan and Dysfunction (and maybe necro) are better than me, especially when they are bigger than 8x8 pixels
.
Basically If I would make a new reuben quest game the graphics would be almost exactly the same than in the previous games

Well ok, it is difficult to compare to some of the pixel artist guru's around here, but i think your sprites are just fine. As far as re-using sprites goes ... Who cares, if they are good enough, use them!

will this game be strictly a hook-up-game between two calculators or will it have a Human vs Compy option? If it's anything like those sprites it will be a pretty awesome game.

I am pretty sure it will feature human against calc and link play.

human vs. human, and link play... I've been playing around with linking routines, and i think I've made an algorithm that may work...
