oh god...I can't stand it if my desktop has more than 4-5 icons on it. I would go crazy with either of yours.

I like to have lots of icons on my desktop, it makes things easier. But I also like to maximize space, so I make my icons as small as possible, even as small as they are I would actually like them a little smaller, but then they start to loose detail. I do the same with the titlebars, scrollbars, just about anything I can shrink I do :) .

I don't use the desktop at all, except for starting TC and Opera. Funny to see my cloth program on Duck's screen. :D

Wack, *hit those guys with more than 4 icon's on theire desktop* ... keep it clean man! keep it clean! and use a 2line taskbar at the bottom... I hate it, when XP groups my windows :x

on other news, can't post any desktop shot, cause I don't have internet at home, and the desktop system they installed at work won't let me change anything, except winxp theme or classic look... ah well...

I hate desktop icons so much, i have disabled them. Instead, i use the quicklaunch, a four-tabbed office bar, a self-hiding my computer bar on the left and a self-hiding adress bar on top.

The background is XP-tan

Nah, I'm not using Bearshare or Shareazaa. Its so full of fake and bad quality movies, I'm not using them.
Usenet newsgroups are my current sources of mp3, DivX and DVD's. I've downloaded >100gb in 2 weeks

And I dont really care about my desktop. Its just a desktop. As long as I now how to find my programs, its okay with me, no matter how messy.

I normally don't have as many icons on the desktop, but I'm just too lazy to put those files somewhere else... And yes, I have a dualheaded system. :) Although normally I just use the right part of that (which is my laptop's LCD).

Sorry it throws the formatting off, but ehh, I don't really have anything to scale the image down.

Use Newsbin Pro (www.newsbin.com). Its a good program specifically build to download binaries (from newsgroups alt.binaries.*).
NewsLeecher and GrabIt also work well.
To search within all the binaries newsgroups, use http://alt.binaries.nl/
And what do you mean with queue's? There are no queueu's when downloading from your newsgroup server... Your ISP needs to have good newsgroup support though. I believe Planet, XS4ALL and some other have good support. If your ISP doesnt, you can use payservers like Astraweb.
