WOW this is great, The screenshot quality I mean, The game isn't that great.
WAIT, I WAS JOKING HERE! The game look pretty nice, I like how you implemented the warrior swingning the sword, it remind me yu-gi oh games but in yugioh there was only a slash appearing in the screen, not swordman animation, I prefer the swordman animation it's better. Keep up the good work!

Here a little comments on the screen... I was in a hurry back than... anyway;
As you may see the game displays two different animations, but it isn't limited to those. (For more info about the animation system see here: http://joepnet.com/hosted/maxcoderz/php ... .php?t=254 ).
You may also notice that, if the enemy plays a card, it just displays the same animation as it would play if the player would play a card. This will change as soon as I converted the snake graphics from necro to GS.
Last thing to add is that , of course, both 'players' will be visible in the animation... so you see them actually 'fighting'. You'll of course see numbers appearing above the creatures which will indicate the damage, just like in other rpg's
I played btw Baten Kaitos a couple of days, and I must say that it is a little similiar to what I had in mind for this card game. I also thought of some nice feature's and how to implent them.
I am rather satisfied how the animation system works, and how easy it is to expand. Expect some new screenies of a more advanced animation in the next weeks.

Thanks again necro! The sprite sheet is perfect. I'll convert it to GS asap.

Btw, I implented the opponent and it works fine... though there seems to be a strange bug in it... i'll have to iron it out, but I guess it's easier when I have a set of different sprites for the enemy

here is the facial animation for my slime...I havent added all of the graphical bells and whistels to it yet and I am going to change the magic animation...I I will update the snaga/medusa soon to (snaga is the name of a snake woman if you are wondering...medusa is a gorgon and described as having a winged-horse like body [though she has esentialy been simplified to a snaga by lazy and inacurate artists])

yeah...I have updated the slime and made a new magic ani (middle) and here is both the sprite sheets and the animated gif
hmm...I want to make a "Black Knight" based on the original animated knite (wielding an axe)...what other characters/monsters would anyone like to see?
