Ever seen one of those "<insert game name> in <insert number> minutes" videos? About Halflife, or Doom, or Duke Nukem, or whatever? The people in those videos hardly kill anyone, even though that's the idea behind those games. So what you're saying applies to pretty much every non-rpg, not just Zeldaunlike in other games, when you fight in Zelda you don't achieve much... you can finish the game faster when just avoiding enemies

Desolate? What the heck kind of lame game is that?tr1p1ea wrote:I have the half-life video somewhere, it pretty cool.
There is also that site where they slow down the emulators to pull off some crazy moves and pass old NES games in mere minutes. (Like that SMB3 in 11 mins vid).
Also has anyone ever played Desolate? *hides* .

i ran into the harper maddox / sam heald zelda a while back. i was hoping for it to come out but it never did. it seems like they quit making the game. i remember looking at all the screenshots and videos and i was amazed. i thought that would really be a good game whenever it would come out. now im looking at spencer's and im seeing how its so different from the other one but it still appeals in its own way. this zelda and the other one would be 2 great games to have on your calculator because theyre both zelda, but both focusing on 2 different things.

I swear that guy is insane.
+ watching FPS speedruns give me motion sickness
"Not long ago, the Black Gate of Armonk swung open. The lights went out, my skin crawled, and dogs began to howl. I asked my neighbor what it was and he said, 'Those are the nazgul. Once they were human, now they are IBM's lawyers.'"
Well honestly ... after doing all this C stuff I never really got back to work on the z80 side. It's been a couple months now and no real progress. Sure it assembles fast, but without progress on it, I really haven't felt like working on it. That doesn't mean I won't pick it up again, just taking an break for an indefinite amount of time. There's a dungeon done, right? So at least it's playable. All this pressure to make it the best Zelda game for calculator is just too much for me.
Without room for expandibility, it fits in a program:
