Maybe someone should make lots of good 2-player games before this convention.
No, on a giant screen we should watch that clip from the matrix lobby scene off a thumbdrive attached to an 84+. 8)

I really like this idea, in fact I liked it when it was first suggested a few months ago here. I think it would be best to have two conventions- one in Europe and one in the U.S. Many of the influential TI coders are European, and if it would be difficult for me to get to the center of the U.S., it would be impossible for them.

Maybe we could have each highschool send their TI nerds to the convention?

EDIT: Oh, and an assembly class would be great.

I think we could use more than one convention in the US. Why not a northeast, midwest, and western convention? If not, a lot of people would not be able to come.

that's fine and all but you know what? It's probably going to cost a hell lot more than just 1 convention. TI likes us, they don't love us :(
Plus you'd also have to worry about turnout rate.

That's precisely why I am planning this for 1 2/3 years in the future, to get a chance for all of these issues to be resolved. I like the idea of a European and one or more US conventions simultaneously. w00t.

Carry on.

Ti-Convetion would be awesome! I'd like a Boston convention cuz i'm from Massachusetts, but that'd wouldn't be fair if there will only be one convention.

Texas might be a good idea...

How about, as Kerm initially suggested, one in NY city. It seems close to many people in the northeast. Look at the frappr for reference.

Big news: there's finally going to be a TI meet, 20 november in Amsterdam. Not a convention, but just some dutch and other guys getting together :) Joe Pemberton is organising it, he's travelling through Europe at the moment, and wanted to meet some guys before he left to go home again, so he started organising this meet. Invitees: kv83, Kozak, Leofox, Durk, Arcane Wizard, Kalimero, me and some others. Hahaha this is going to rock, you guys in the USA aren't laughing now eh?

Well, everyone bring cameras who has them. :) Now we have to set up a U.S. one, though unfortunately I couldn't even go to one more than 1 state away.
