Definitely fishing. Maybe a race w/another character like on Mario64? Or a memory game where you walk on the tile/attack them to pick them.

will you have large bosses and complex enemies with slave master type features? As far as mini games, the base ball with the great fairey sword from Oracle of Seasons would be cool...and playing an instrument

i plan on having some large bosses. what in zelda had slave-master relationships though? sounds like another unnecessary feature.

to be honest, not much. i've been busy doing a whole mess of things, including looking at laptops. now that i have a tilemapper, and school's starting, i plan to do most of the rest of the coding in school (which starts the 30th). i dont remember if i posted this, but i finished all ten of the reg. enemy AI's. im still browsing around for mini-game ideas too.

Yes @ Crane Game; An idea for a game feature, maybe you have to lead a character to somewhere else, and they have to follow you, maybe they have a power you can use to do something, etc. You could have the character follow 1 tile behind, etc.

Also, heres an 8x8 Zelda from a while back, if your interested:

MAN Those are GOOD zelda sprites. Can I have the 8x8 ones? You can keep the 16x16.

Hmm, I've missed this a bit, looks nice.

But MUCH of the spritework as LITERAL COPIES of Corbin sprites!!
It has been done before but in the past people at least asked me permission.

Corbin screenshots:
very early version:

newer version:

Outdoors sprite copies:
- Big Trees (ugly copy of old corbin version)
- House:
- front tiles
- door tiles
- roof tiles
- maybe more
- trivial sprites copies: grass,
Indoor sprite copies:
- table
- chair

And some trivial ones like the Octorock, NPC sprites,

Am I the first to see this? I dont like to be picky, but I would have preferred to be asked about this first.

And as I said: I dont mind, when you have kindly asked first. Its no fun to see other people getting credited for you own work.

So please "crzyrbl", now please go make your own sprites. And no, you are not allowed to use mine.

ouch. i did not know it was you. i honestly tried to find the author, but the link to the email didnt work. the last thing i wanted to do was copy someone, but the work was so old, i didnt know if i would even be able to find the person who made it. Please know that i tried and made a bad desision and im sorry.

I totaly agree with duck, especially when I read something like this;
thanx, i spend a lot of time on them since i have NO experience in sprites.
:?

@duck:  don't tease us with those screens... *runs away crying*

Sprites i wrongfully used:

trees
house
chair
table
dirt

i thought the author was long gone and i thought i could put him in the credits, but it was stupid to think that. if i had know it was you, duck, i would have asked in a heartbeat.
the rest were mine and necros. if they look similiar, its because some of our sprites are both made to look like zelda and we both use 8x8.
