No, there are too many people who look to the site for genuine advice. The password idea is fine by me. As a plus, it pretty much prevents someone from using an anonymizer to register with the site.

However, your mod won't last long. Bot-makers will adapt if, it fails to often on your site... so that is a ticking-bomb aswell. Also there a lot "human-bots". The whole point is that no one else is using it. I seriously doubt the script kiddies who write bots will ever even visit Revsoft...
