Re: Wabbitemu crashes when trying to open the debugger
Are you using the latest version? Recent builds have been a bit erratic.

Re: Progress thread for the current version (2010)
Heh, thank you. :) I was hoping to draw a character sprite that could wander around the level on its own. I do also need to add a height coordinate for objects - they currently snap straight down to the floor. The frame rate is the same as the previous demo, and yes at 15MHz. Performance still slows...

Re: Progress thread for the current version (2010)
Thank you very much. I hope I get a chance to resume this project soon, but work is currently taking all of my time. :( http://benryves.com/images/nostromo/bsp/2010.12.12/Moving-Things.gif I did spend a little time adding code to allow "things" to be moved around the map. This involves tak...

Re: Progress thread for the current version (2010)
Thank you very much. I've had virtually no time to work on my own projects recently (work has been keeping me busy as the year comes to an end) so there's been no progress since my last post I'm afraid.

Re: Brass 3.0.0.0 Beta 13
I'd recommend Spasm instead, to be perfectly honest. It's certainly more robust.

Re: Progress thread for the current version (2010)
Thank you very much! :) I do hope I can turn this into something usable for a game, but I'm still a long way off. The size worries me, too. With a bit more work I hope I can start publishing the source code, which may give people a better idea of what I'm doing. It's a fairly simple renderer, and gi...

Re: Brass 3.0.0.0 Beta 13
I've released a new beta of the assembler to the website. This fixes a bug with multiple forward-references in a single data statement and slightly improves the bundled TI calculator templates and include files. These are issues I've run into when developing Nostromo.

Re: [Nostromo] Orginal Progress Thread
I've made some attempts to optimise the engine; only one (caching projected vertices) has been successful. I have, however, enlarged the level to the full 256 walls. http://benryves.com/images/nostromo/bsp/2010.11.28/Overview-03.gif http://benryves.com/images/nostromo/bsp/2010.11.28/Overview-04...

Re: [Nostromo] Orginal Progress Thread
I've done a little work on the project and added another room: http://benryves.com/images/nostromo/bsp/2010.11.25/New-Room-01.gif http://benryves.com/images/nostromo/bsp/2010.11.25/New-Room-01.jpg http://benryves.com/images/nostromo/bsp/2010.11.25/New-Room-02.gif http://benryves.com/imag...

Re: [Nostromo] Orginal Progress Thread
http://benryves.com/images/nostromo/bsp/2010.11.21/Collision-Detection-Still.gif Work has left me with little time to work on my own projects of late. I have, however, added simple collision detection to Nostromo, and you can read more about this and download a demo from my site . Failing that, cl...

I've not used it myself, but KeyToString seems to do what you need.

Re: RC plane mischief (Laughter at 20,000 ft)
I can't say I know the first thing about model aeroplanes but this looks like great fun. Good luck with the project!
